Welcome to Young Israel of Houston
Kiddush & Seudah Shlishis

Kiddush this Shabbos is sponsored in honor of:
Hillel & Ilana Stanley
for Hillel's role in forming and leading the boys' Shabbos group in shul and for their joint, long-standing "open door" policy at home for all the neighborhood boys on Shabbos.  The 20 shul families who directly benefit from their ongoing generosity every week have jointly sponsored this Kiddush as a token of their appreciation. They are:

Seudah Shlishis this Shabbos is sponsored by:
David & Darlene Schwartz
in commemoration of the yahrtzeit of David's mother,
Chaya Sara bas Rav Yehuda Leib

Hashkama Kiddush is sponsored by:
Barbara & Richard Weisman
as an expression of enjoyment of moving into the neighborhood and attending the Young Israel Hashkama Minyan.

Shavuos @ YIH

The Shavuos atmosphere over yuntif was electric, jolting us forward into the summer months. Hopefully, the momentum will hold us over until the High Holidays, not much more than three months away. Many thanks to those who arranged, sponsored, spoke, and led davening, over yuntif.
